Sacred Space
The Sacred Space Company and the Sacred Space concept came about because we wanted to create spaces that were designed and built with flare and inspiration.
We realise that buildings’ interiors & exteriors affect people in many different ways throughout the limitless spectrum of emotions. Often, in today’s heavily legislated environment, many buildings are created with little consideration of their impact. Designers often regard the new legislation as design restrictions and thus create soul-less buildings, which whilst being energy efficient, do little to inspire the people using them.
Here at the Sacred Space Company, we embrace the new challenges of sustainability and greater energy efficiency, whilst keeping design at the forefront of our focus at all times. We attain the high standards of new legislation through innovative design and cutting edge material technology. In this way we continue to create Sacred Spaces.
Sacred - adj dedicated or appropriated to some person or purpose.
Central to the Sacred Space ethos is to create spaces that appear and feel at one, not only with their environment, but also with you, the Client. Our aim is for our designs to take into consideration all of your needs, whether they are spoken or just inferred. We want the spaces we design and create to make you feel as though you have almost stepped into yourself, to allow you to focus on yourself, for it to feel sacred to you, for that is the aim of any good design. We work closely with our Clients to find what it is that connects them, what inspires them, what helps them focus. We then create a space around them, around their personality. We do this by designing an experience for them.
Everybody’s space grows from a different idea or concept and can range from a Meditation Room or Dojo, Luxurious Bedroom or Cellar Bar to an Underground Swimming Pool or Leisure Complex. No one idea is more valid than another; the only purpose is for it to be sacred to you, for it to be your sanctuary.
